Ruffwear Hitch Hiker Dog Backpack Carrier – Up to 18kg

Ruffwear Hitch Hiker Dog Backpack Carrier – Adventures Are Better Together

Big adventures for little paws! The Ruffwear Hitch Hiker Dog Backpack Carrier lets your four-legged explorer enjoy the journey, even when their legs need a rest. With a secure built-in harness, breathable panels and a comfortable, adjustable carrying system, it's perfect for hiking, days out and adventures together.

Suitable for dogs up to 18kg | Three sizes available | Forward-facing design

Designed for dogs who occasionally need a helping paw, this premium dog carrying backpack provides a comfortable, secure way to give your companion a lift when walking gets a little too much. It's particularly handy for smaller dogs, older adventurers and those who tire before their humans do.

And because adventures should be comfortable for everyone, Ruffwear has thoughtfully designed the Hitch Hiker for both the dog enjoying the ride and the human doing the carrying.

A First-Class Seat for Your Four-Legged Explorer

Your dog can travel in a natural, forward-facing upright position, enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of the adventure ahead.

An integrated adjustable harness helps keep them securely positioned inside the carrier, while additional cinch straps hold them comfortably close to your back. Breathable air mesh panels at the base encourage airflow, helping to keep your little passenger comfortable on the move.

The clever dual locking zip design opens wide, making it easier to get your dog in and out when it's time to swap between walking and hitching a ride.

Comfortable for You, Too

Carrying your dog shouldn't mean sacrificing your own comfort.

The Hitch Hiker features padded shoulder straps, a breathable back panel, an adjustable torso length and a supportive hip belt to help distribute your dog's weight more evenly.

Whether you're enjoying a countryside ramble or exploring somewhere new, the adjustable carrying system helps you find a secure, supportive fit.

There are even handy zipped pockets on the hip belt for your phone, treats and poo bags, plus an external stretch pocket for a soft water flask or other little essentials.

Perfect for Those 'Carry Me!' Moments

Some dogs love exploring but don't always have the stamina to keep going all day. That's where the Hitch Hiker really comes into its own.

It's a lovely choice for:

• Little adventurers: Smaller dogs who want to join longer walks and outdoor excursions.
• Senior sweethearts: Older dogs who enjoy getting out but sometimes need a rest.
• Dogs who tire easily: Give your companion a break without cutting the adventure short.
• Days out and holidays: Handy for sightseeing, exploring and outdoor adventures.
• Active dog parents: Keep your furry companion close while enjoying the great outdoors.

For dogs with mobility or health conditions, always check with your vet that an upright backpack carrier is suitable.
